It wasn’t that long ago when we learned about Kirk Talley (pictured), one of southern gospel music’s “stars”. Talley had sung with all the genre’s top names and was celebrated in churches all across the country. Without a doubt, Kirk Talley was southern gospel music “royalty”.

Just over a month after GCM Watch uncovered a black pastor’s involvement in an upcoming gay christian conference, Evangelicals Concerned quietly removed Pastor Mary Emma Evans off its roster of conference guests.
The original pdf flyer is listed here. Evans was scheduled to perform a gospel concert during the conference.
