That’s about as plain as it gets. With the stock of homosexuals rising socially and politically, some pastors are cashing in on the untapped disposable income bonanza homosexuals can bring to a church. It has nothing to do with care and concern for the soul of a person in sin —which God says is the characteristic of his pastors (Jeremiah 3:15)—, but exposes greedy hirelings, searching for ways to keep their bank accounts fattened.
According to economic data, The normative statistics for a homosexual in the USA include a Bachelor’s degree: For gay men, the median household income is $83,000/yr. (Gay singles $62,000; gay couples living together $130,000), almost 80% above the median U.S. household income of $46,326, per census data. For lesbians, the median household income is $80,000/yr. (Lesbian singles $52,000; Lesbian couples living together $96,000); 36% of lesbians reported household incomes in excess of $100,000/yr. Compare that to the median income of the non-college educated Black male of $30,539.
The church pimps see this as a mountain of untouched money, ripe for the picking. With the homosexual population (in and out of the church) convinced that they are perpetual victims, both were destined to meet. The pimps know that gays possess the ability to handsomely reward their protectors. It gives “radical inclusion” a whole new meaning.
Having said that, let’s introduce DC pimp team Dennis and Christine Wiley of Covenant Baptist Church. Wiley recently published an article in the gay-backed online publication The Daily Voice detailing how he and wife “welcome” gays and why other black pastors should hurry up and get in on the newest human lotto game.
Using language sure to make the pimpin’ palate salivate with lust, Wiley contends that because of “heterosexism” and “homophobia”, homosexuals need to be herded into the church as quickly as possible before they become atheist and the church loses its opportunity to cash in.
A real wolf in sheep’s clothing, Wiley quickly minimizes the Bible because it inhibits his ability to plant another form of religious ideology in the minds of his victims.
There are numerous publications now available that help us to understand that the few biblical passages once thought to express unequivocal condemnation of homosexuality have been grossly misinterpreted. In fact, the more accurate translations of the Bible do not even mention the word, “homosexuality,” a relatively new term. And, while these passages condemn same-sex behavior that is violent, abusive, or believed at the time to result in ritual impurity, the scriptures do not explicitly address sexual intimacy between two loving individuals of the same gender.”
Take note that Wiley says the Bible doesnt even mention “homosexuality” which he states is a “relatively new term”.
You can identify a real pimp-wolf because they so focused on plotting the money game their arguments are patently foolish and illogical. Pimp Wiley is correct that the word “homosexuality” isn’t in the Bible. But neither is “homophobia”, “heterosexism”, “sexual orientation”, “gay”, “lesbian”, “transgender”, “bisexual”, “tolerance” or “radical inclusion” just to name a few. All of the words are very new terms (much newer than homosexuality), but Wiley and his pimpin’ colleagues have no problem at all using them and demanding that we use them.
Wiley is a black liberation theology advocate [bio]. Given that, I wonder what white gays would say about joining his church? What’s stranger than snow in the Amazon jungles is that although Wiley holds a Phd in Philosophy, is alleged to be a “distinguished theologian”, and graduated magna cum laude from Harvard, his article and arguments in the article are as stale as week old bread. If fact, he parrots the same debunked lines. Wiley drops familiar cliches used by the gay political and gay christian movements, but there exists no original positioning of his own. If he did, he would easily come to the conclusion that his whole premise is a house of cards and thus would undercut his pimp game.
Pimps. All it takes to be one is a juvenile thought process and the ability to stroke the fires of victimization. They’ll be eating out of your slop barrel in no time. Isn’t that right, Pastor Wiley?
