Gay marriage: the ‘days of Noah’ return

We have written several  posts concerning homosexuality and its signal role in the return of the Lord.

I mentioned on another blog, that everytime homosexuality is discussed in its biblical context as sinful, someone invariably attempts to dumb it down and pretend as if it is nothing to be worried about.

We should be worried about the war in Iraq, world hunger, the eco system and homelessness they say. These are the important issues they say, not who people are “sleeping” with.

But is that true?

new article released by Janet Folger, president of Faith2Action says what a lot of people who are aware of the times have been thinking. In her article “How same-sex marriage points to the end of the world”, Folger recounts how what we are seeing happen now before our very eyes is the beginning fulfillment of what Jesus said would happen before his return. Moreover, the  people had sunken into such a perpetually degenerative moral condition these things were celebrated and viewed as normal.

As I wrote about in my book, “The Criminalization of Christianity,” Jeffrey Satinover, who holds an M.D. from Princeton and doctorates from Yale, MIT and Harvard, was on my radio program one day and I asked him about where we are in history. He explained that according to the “Babylonian Talmud” – the book of rabbis’ interpretation of the scriptures 1,000 years before Christ, there was only one time in history that reflects where we are right now. There was only one time in history, according to these writings, where men were given in marriage to men, and women given in marriage to women.

Want to venture a guess as to when? No, it wasn’t in Sodom and Gomorrah, although that was my guess. Homosexuality was rampant there, of course, but according to the Talmud, not homosexual “marriage.” What about ancient Greece? Rome? No. Babylon? No again. The one time in history when homosexual “marriage” was practiced was … during the days of Noah. And according to Satinover, that’s what the “Babylonian Talmud” attributes as the final straw that led to the Flood.

Folger’s article also contains astonishing commentary by Rabbi Aryeh Spero on what the Talmud reveals about homosexuality, state sanctioned homosexual weddings and the coming judgment of God.

25But first must He [Christ] suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.  26And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man:
27They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.  28“Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;  29but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.  30“Even thus shall it be in the Day when the Son of Man is revealed.

Notice that Jesus compared Noah’s day to Sodom and Gomorrah and then linked it to the time of his return.

Because the inhabitants of the earth had become so evil, God anointed Noah to preach righteousness and repentance right up until the time the door of the ark closed shut. He preached the same message for over 100 years. This was the mercy of God in action, a window of opportunity to repent. Some listened at first, but then overcome by the sin around them, eventually ignored Noah. Noah was openly vilified, mocked and called a liar. Why? Because the people saw no rain and they did not want to believe their activities were wrong.

Even today, blogs and ministries dedicated to calling the church to repentance and exposing the unfruitful works of darkness are being mocked, vilified and dismissed as “divisive”, “hateful” and “homophobic” by many in the church and others in the world.

This is why we must urgently return to preaching the message of the Kingdom of God! Repent and believe the gospel for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Mark 1:14,15. While others saturate the church with false messages of love, prosperity and blessings, true saints should cry aloud and spare not. The time has come to speak out to this wicked generation of men without fear.

Laugh, mock and continue marrying and giving in marriage if you please. At the appointed time, the Lord will return and the door to repentance will be shut forever. Once the door shuts, the rain will fall. So it was and so it shall be.

  1. Very powerful post!

Recently, I was dealing with scoffers on Digg regarding BIble prophecies coming true right before our eyes. I shared 2 Peter – pointing out that their scoffing is also a part of fulfilling prophecy!

Another Digg user shared the fact that the lightening fires burning in Northern CA happened just shortly after the same-sex “marriage” ruling by rogue judges.

Jesus told us to watch for the signs of the times. They are upon us, people! We are to watch, work, wait, but most of all PRAY!

There is nothing greater on the earth than to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior! NOTHING compares!

D.L., you highlighted it accurately and profoundly!

    “Righteousness and repentance.”

“…we must urgently return to preaching the message of the Kingdom of God! Repent and believe the gospel for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Mark 1:14,15.”

    Amen!

  2. Oooohhh the goosebumps! Very powerful post Pastor DL! Folks (including myself) have or had no idea how the simple phrase of “what people do behind closed doors is none of our business” could eventually lead to us loosing our religious liberties! What other issues in America come close to preventing us from freedom of religious speech and practice? What other issue attempts to override the face of a family, the very foundation of any nation?

None close to Homosexuality! (correct me if I’m mistaken)

Thanks to blogs likes yours and others to enlighten me to the seriousness of this sin and its effects upon us today. And yes, the biblical prophecies unfolding before our eyes send the goosebumps too!

What a job we have before us in getting others to open their eyes and ears and receive the true word of God! Sadly, in our great country of the US of A, the scoffers are growing in leaps in bounds making our work just a bit more challenging!

This is the time and age where the real men (and women) of God will stand out. What pastors buckle under the homosexual agenda for the sake of saving their collection plates…or the voters giving in to the homosexual agenda for the sake of maintaining “peace” or the campuses of all age groups allowing the proliferation of gay groups while condemning Christian groups…this list goes on and on but it will separate the wheat from the chaff.

Have to be praying and watchful always!

  3. Christine, I put a link to your article above. Thanks for speaking out. People may reject the truth, but it does not release us from out obligation to speak it.

Carlotta: you are so right! We have a tremendous job ahead of us. But I feel like Joshua and Caleb who reported to Moses: “We are well able”. Amen?

  4. Amen Pastor Foster! GOD is not with the GCMs, Soulforces, Inclusionists, and whoever else is in this category! The most amazing thing about the GCM is they are like the prophets of Baal were after Elijah challenged them! They were so convinced that they prayed and prophesied from the morning to noon to the evening sacrifice! They were so convinced that that
    1 Kings 18:28-28
” they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them. 29And it came to pass, when midday was past, and they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded.”

On a sidenote, this lie from the pits of hell called Political Correctness is sending the nation down the tubes, our nation and the states allowing gay marriage on the false basis of “civil liberties” will OPEN pandora’s box–Next the Muslims will want religious freedom and civil liberties–resulting in Sharia law,
multiple wives, etc. etc. etc. When darkness gets a foothold–the whole body(nation, states, cities) is evil–Matthew 6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

The nation and the church is entering a new modern day “Dark Ages”! But prophetically, GREAT NEWS and HOPE, since we know these evil signs point to the coming of the LORD–Before the coming of the LORD–Elijah must come! Elijah/John the Baptist type of ministers/ministries are coming! Luke 1:17
And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

Keep Warning Pastor Foster–there are people receiving the truth of JESUS CHRIST and seeds (The Word of GOD) are being sown into men’s hearts and many are repenting because of your website! Not everyone is rejecting the TRUTH!

  5. WoW! Pastor Foster one of your best posts so far and is so true. Many believe we may be entering the birth pains at present. As we continue to become more and more evil we are seeing massive flooding in the Midwest, rampant fires in California, a recent earthquake in China, massive food and oil price inflation, an economy on the brink of collapse, and Israel about to take out Iran which would set the end times in motion. WoW!

    Kyle

  6. I tend to think that the 50% rate of divorce that scoffs at the sacrament of religion is a little more troubling than two women or two men wanting the same rights as their hetero counter parts.

We do live in difficult times. But weren’t they more difficult in 1863? 1915? 1941?

You would better served by making the world a better place than praying for the end of it.

  7. Top notch post, Pastor. In this world where the truth slides around to meet the desires of the person setting the guidelines for discussion in the socio-political area, the unwavering truth of Christ is the only thing to which we can cling.

I’m sure the mockers will start to arrive by the bucketload because you’re standing up to the opinions of the media fueled masses but it just proves what the Word says…the truth of Christ is foolishness to those who are perishing.

    Have a great day.

  8. Pastor Foster. Well said, indeed. Great post. It certainly seems that the Earth is grumbling. Earth quakes, fires, floods, famine, wars, and rumors. Yet, in all of this, we forget that the harvest is ripe. The fields are ready. We must get out there and reach the lost. We must pray that the Lord convicts them of their sin so that he can break their chains. Thank you for your efforts.

    God Bless,

    Jeff

  9. I have to concur with everyone else…wonderful article and Biblically accurate!!

Chilling times indeed…exciting times for the Christian but also very dangerous times….

I tend to watch the international scene so much that I forgot what moral degradation is happening in our own countries and it is astonishing…I live in Canada and we worse then America when it comes to anti christ evil…..more subtle up here..but more dangerous….

  10. …and the sign of God’s unconditional promise – the rainbow; gets “claimed” as a symbol of unity by those walking in rebellion – and yet is a awesome reminder for the saints – God’s word is Truth, it is indeed reality. Just look at it!

  11. POWERFUL…ABSOLUTLY POWERFUL!!!!! PRAISE GOD FOR THE THINGS HE IS DOING~! GLOOOORY!!!!

  12. GCM; praise God for you. I have been reading your website for months now but this is my first post. I had to because of this particular post. What a blessing you are to all of us who are hungry for truth and salvation. Chills doesn’t describe what was flowing through my body when I read this article. Thank you. Thank you. This is exactly what I needed to hear to get busy for the Lord. It’s not fear but a sense of urgency. The time is upon us and I cannot stand quietly anymore. All of us HAVE TO continue to spread this message.

    Question:
When you do encounter a person living this lifestyle openly and does not have any desire to change; do you still try to speak to them or move on and just pray? I pray but I’m not sure when to speak up.

  13. GiGrace, your post truly touched my heart. God bless you for reading, hearing and believing the Word of the Lord.

I share your conclusion: we must preach the word with urgency, knowing that at his return, this will end. And with his return ends the possibility of grace-led repentance. We all know what that means.

I am reminded of the parable of the 5 wise/5 foolish virgins (Mt 25:1-13). The wise were ready, the foolish and unbelieving were not. The wise also REFUSED to give the foolish any of their oil, lest they themselves be lost. Note that although the foolish were virgins (in the church), they were devoid of wisdom.

Hear the wisdom of the parable:

There comes a time (and I will say that only the Holy Ghost) can reveal that to you about an individual) that you must move on and refuse to give them any more oil. In the Bible, oil symbolizes the Holy Spirit! Without the Holy Spirit’s conviction, repentance is impossible. In their foolishness they will only waste it.

In your determination, if the person is a sinner, different “rules” apply. Sinners are in much better position to receive the gospel than a person who claims to follow Christ but refuses to repent of their sin/justifies their sin using scripture.i.e a “gay christian”. To them, you can only remind them of what the FATHER has said.

    When to speak up?
When you know the Word of God is being taught deceitfully and whenever the Holy Ghost prompts you to speak up.
Sure it will cause some to reject you, but our devotion to Christ has to be greater than our desire to please people.
Noah was a great example of that.

If you have any more questions or comments please feel free.

  14. These gay-friendly churches break my heart. My brother is a member of one, along with his wife and two small children. I shudder when I think about their pro-homosexual theology and their associate pastor, who calls himself a “progressive” Christian who counsels men and women homosexuals on how to “come out” and feel good about themselves.

A pastor teaching his flock to feel good about their sin. Who would have believed it 50 years ago?

  15. This is a great article and I agree completely that these are the days of Noah. I’m curious about the scripture that is quoted about “marriage and given in marriage”. What version of the bible is this? Mine doesn’t imply homosexuality, but rather the daily goings on of life at the time. I completly agree that it is detestable to God and an abomination and can see culturally at the time of Sodom and Lot that these kinds of things were going on. But I just want to be sure that isn’t contrived from that verse.

I had the sudden realization of the fact that the US is the last so called Christian nation and it is a weak representation at that, but we are moving or have moved to the condition of man and man’s heart according to the signs Jesus gave us. It parellels perfectly with the signs that are given by other prophecy of the last days. We are so very there; the fig tree has withered, summer is here and we are to look up for our redemption is near.

  16. Thanks Morelli,

I noted your concern with the interpretation of the phrase “marrying and given in marriage”

The connection to homosexuality in our view was drawn by Jesus himself. As we stated in the article in Luke 17:25-30
Jesus drew a direct line through the pages of history with The flood, Sodom and His return. as major markers.

All three were/will be cataclysmic events in human history. And the preceeding two were characterized by gross sin and sexual immorality.

Does that help? Please let me know.

  17. thanks for this post. i was emailed the same article but wanted to find out more information.
