I am an exhomosexual

Listen to this young woman describe how God brought her out of homosexuality and the unique way she has communicated the greatness of God. She asks “now that Ive been delivered how can I keep quiet?” I hear you my sister, how can we who have experienced such an outpouring of love, grace and deliverance remain silent in these times?

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. 1 Peter 2: 9-10

Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; Psalms 107:2

  1. Good for her! Looks like another one of those people that the gay lobby insists don’t exist. There sure seem to be a lot of them!

  2. 1Co 6:9-11 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, [ 10 ] nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. [ 11 ] And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
These blessed words are what I am and this dear sister is in Jesus Christ!

  3. This is wonderful!! What a Mighty God we serve!!

    She looks radiant and beautiful!!

Jesus can rescue us from any sin!!

  4. We need to pray for her. When people like her make a bold and public stand for the truth they are put on the ‘hit list” of the evil one.

Satan loves to undermine the faith of the repentant by telling them that they are not free, that their conversion was just an emotional experience, and that they will only find love and happiness by returning to their former way of life.

Of course the media and the Gay Theology propaganda machine will either say that she is living in denial of her true self or that she never was a homosexual to begin with and was only confused or “experimenting.”

Having said that, while I appreciate her boldness the church too often puts novice Christians on display in order to “tell their testimony” (for dramatic effect) when what they really need is to be discipled for a time and fortified in the Word of God. Being put on stage when their faith is immature can lead to pride (the enemy’s ultimate weapon) and when challenged by the opposition they are not equipped to defend their faith.

All too often new and immature Christians who are either famous (rock stars, athletes, actors, etc.) or have a radical testimony (ex-cons, ex-drug addicts, ex-prostitutes etc.) are given a voice in the church when they need time to learn and grow.

I pray that she will persevere in the faith and will grow in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  5. True words, Rik. We want her seeds to fall on good ground, and bring forth fruit 30, 60, and 100-fold; and that type of growth takes time and attention. We don’t want her conversion to be like the seeds fallen on stony places, being excited about the Lord and about the Word until the persecution hits (Matthew 13:20-21). May God put a hedge of protection about her (and others like her) and not let any enemies triumph over her whatsoever (Psalm 25:1-2).

  6. The other thing is that those of us who know how treacherous the enemy can be towards new converts should reach out to her with strong words of encouragement. I posted her myspace page. Please visit and let her know youre praying for her.

We should not let them stand and proclaim such critical truth alone. Let the redeemed means ALL the redeemed, not just the excited, new converts.

    thanks and blessings.

  7. Gorgeous!!!!! This may not be the place to post this but she is beautiful! Apart from that outside, the things she’s talking about is AWESOME! Praise God for her testimony! This is amazing!!!

  8. James, I think that its appropriate to comment on her beauty now that she is saved and from that perspective. She is beautiful. I think that salvation gives you a wonderful new look or a glow perhaps that the darkness of sin takes away from you. Sin degrades not only the spirit but the body. Salvation restores that to a degree.

Im not saying that the outside indicates true spiritual change, but it is true that inside change affects outside appearance. God creates every woman beautiful and sin really does mar that natural beauty. I think that change becomes more pronounced in women who come out of lesbianism. Look at Charlene Cothran and Janet Boynes and Star Burch who has some “before and after” pictures.

Psalms 149: 4For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation and adorn the wretched with victory. (AMPV)

I hope Im not stretching that out of context.
