Apostate Episcopals gay clergy decision "a spiritual train wreck"

We all knew it was coming to this. Denouncing the culmination of a tragic dance with homosexuality in the US based Episcopal Church, Bishop NT Wright wrote to the Times of London, “In the slow-moving train crash of international Anglicanism, a decision taken in California has finally brought a large coach off the rails altogether.”

When biblical Anglicans within the Episcopal church disfellowshipped themselves over the wanton acceptance of homosexuality, we knew it would only be a matter of time before Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori and her band of theives would move to put sexually immoral people in leadership.

The installation of Bishop Vickie Gene Robinson proved to be completely disastrous for the Episcopal Church USA with serious reverberations throughout worldwide Anglicanism. Other denominations should take note. If you want your church destroyed and turned over to demonic influence, it will happen if you sit passively and do nothing.

According to the Washington Times, on yesterday the church reversed the ban on gay bishops enacted in 2006 after the outrage over Robinson’s illicit consecration.

“The U.S. Episcopal Church put itself on a collision course with the rest of the Anglican Communion by formally approving Tuesday the ordination of gay bishops, defying warnings that the Church of England may respond by recognizing a rival Anglican church.

The 2.1-million-member U.S. branch of the Anglican Communion also was preparing Wednesday to approve blessing ceremonies for same-sex unions, a further slap at the Archbishop of Canterbury, who warned the U.S. church last week not to act in ways that deepen the splits in the 77-million-member worldwide communion.

In Tuesday’s actions, the U.S. church reversed a promise made to the rest of the communion by agreeing to end the church’s gay-bishop ban, which the church imposed in 2006 at its last triennial convention after the worldwide furor over the 2003 consecration of Bishop V. Gene Robinson of New Hampshire.”

Since elected, Jefferts-Schori has acted as the head witch, leading the charge to turn God’s house of prayer into a den of thieves.  Read  here and here how she has played out her wicked vendetta against bishops and churches who refused to accept the immoral leadership of Vickie Gene Robinson.

The depth of darkness, heresy and deception enshrouding the church is stunning.

“Bishop John B. Chane of Washington, who had said earlier he did not think the “time was right” to end the ban, told The Washington Times on Tuesday that he had shifted his position. As the debate intensified, he said, he realized a ban on gay clergy “prohibited dioceses from being open to the power of the Holy Spirit.”

When you attribute the work of satan to the Holy Spirit Jesus said it is an act of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit that would not be forgiven.

“And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem were saying, ‘He is possessed by Beelzebul,’ and ‘He casts out the demons by the ruler of the demons.

Jesus replied in part, “Truly I say to you, all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin” (Mark 3.22,28, 29).

The bishop who says allowing self identified homosexual Christians in ministry  is a work of the Holy Spirit crossed over the line. Blaspheming against the Spirit is much deeper than flippant remarks. It is the act of rejecting the witness of God who alone can convict man of his sin (John 16:8-11).

  1. I am sickened by the claim made that this is the work of the Holy Spirit. It’s a spirit alright, and He’s certainly not orchestrating this mayhem and chaos (putting it lightly)! If the woman in the “I used to lust after women everyday” video understood Leviticus 18:22, and she was in the depth of her sin, these jokers understand it, too! God said He gives every man “a measure of faith” to understand the Gospel and receive it. These people are playing the “fool role” and if they don’t repent, they will receive their “Emmy”!

  2. The church that has left its first love and has decided to admit gays and lesbians into the church and into church leadership is a fallen church. Now, that holds true for any church that consciously allows sinnners to stand in the pulplit and proclaim the Word of God. That can be a Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran or
    Congregational Church. Sin is sin.
Jesus Christ does not recognize apostate churches as being born of his Spirit. Jesus has no alliance with sinners. He calls sinners to repentance…not comfort or understanding or diversity or unity…repentance.
Folks…these are last day events. Be mindful of that when you reading such outrageous antics happening in the so called “church.” The false church and the real church stand side by side. Know the Word of God and you will know what church is which.
Be mindful…God is not mocked and we win!
Peace. Keep on reading the Word, stay in prayer and love the
brethren and worship God. Let those joyous disciplines rule your life.

  3. You really got me with that comment about blaspheming the Holy Spirit. That is such a final and irrevocable action.

  4. The blasphemy against the Holy Spirit you pointed out Pastor, which I totally agree with, hit me like a ton of bricks.

That man sealed his fate in the Lake of Fire for all eternity with just a few words…..

  5. My co worker is also a member of a demonic church (UCC). I have shown her church’s doctrine against the Word of God and she still refuses to believe it. I decided to leave her alone & continue to pray that her eyes will be open.

  6. …and some folks say you can’t commit the unpardonable sin. This example should be yet another blaring warning of just how far some professed “Christians” disguise themselves in a deliberate rejection of God! They can’t deny what God has already said and done – so they attribute Satan’s work to God’s power. That is what I would call the fullest possible rejection known to man. They trifle with God’s holiness and like a poisonous snake their mouths reveal the utter wickedness.

“every carless word…” carries the full impact. Lord help us!

To claim that a gay peron being selected to hold the office and position of a Bishop is a work of the Holy Spirit is pure nonsense! I am shocked at the very idea of that happening anywhere in the world, but we are indeed in the end times. I am begining to see why people (specifically youth) have a desensitization to the church built in their minds. When the front runners and leaders of the church are preparing the way for the antichrist’s coming, to many people, church is the last place they’re trying to be!

  8. In your comment in the article, “Other denominations should take note. If you want your church destroyed and turned over to demonic influence, it will happen if you sit passively and do nothing,” keep in mind that during the Reformation of Martin Luther’s time, the “orthodox” church just knew that the followers of Reform were evil, heretical and totally outside the Will of God. But although the Catholic church pulled together and probably became more cohesive due to the Reformation, what came out of the Reformation is every Protestant church around the world to include 99% of the doctrines represented on this site.

What am I saying? It would be wise to follow the wisdom outlined in Acts chapter 5, “And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone, for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought; but if it be of God, you cannot overthrow it, lest haply you be found even to fight against God.”

GCMW: You quoted the very “religious elite” you seem to disdain when it doesnt settle with your ungodly agenda. Homosexuality is evil and the gay christian movement is heretical because they teach others to disobey God and lie against his Spirit. Dont try to use scripture to justify and cover your wickedness.

  9. Nice call GCMW on that utter misuse of Acts 5! That adivce was indeed given by a Pharisee; in essence it was just like saying “if it works it is of God, if it doesn’t it wasn’t” That’s what a coward would say inorder to avoid the utter clarity of God’s word.

  10. Mark, in the comment just prior to that she denounced the pharisees,

“And another amazing thing, those people who are always discounting others as being the ones who are lost and evil and ruined are NEVER, EVER in that category but rather they are always the ones who are alright with God. Kind of reminds me of the religious elite of Jesus’ day. It’s funny how it was the self-righteous religious leaders that Jesus had the most problem with during his ministry don’t you think?”

But as soon as something pops up where she can use the words of the “self righteous religious leaders” to her advantage, she jumps on it.

Jesus didnt like hypocrites at all. Neither do I.

  11. gwmwatch I am fully aware who was being quoted in Acts 5 but according to you and all those like-minded scripture is not separated by what humans say and what God says.

GCMW: …and that was said where?

You know full well that this line of scripture and the entire bible is taught as being the “Word of God” Or are you recanting on your belief that the entire bible from Genesis to Revelations is the inerrant Word of God and All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness.

GCMW: I didnt refute the scripture (nor the veracity and applicability of scripture), just your hypocrisy is using it in an attempt to umbrella your own sin.

Perhaps only when it benefits your argument that you point out the distinctions of what a person said versus what God said. Either you believe the whole bible is the Word of God–what God says or dismiss a majority of your arguments on this website. You can’t have it both ways.

GCMW: Exactly, because WHAT GOD SAYS matters most. Let God be true and every man a liar. Romans 3:4
