Elton John plays the perversion card

The British singer told Parade Magazine:

“I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems. On the cross, he forgave the people who crucified him. Jesus wanted us to be loving and forgiving. I don’t know what makes people so cruel. Try being a gay woman in the Middle East — you’re as good as dead.”

Every since he was violently thrown out of the presence of God for pride and unmitigated arrogance, Satan is always trying to project onto the Lord Jesus his own demented and perverted nature. That’s why its important to know God’s word for yourself. Expect more of these types of attacks on the nature of Christ as we approach his coming. People like Elton John become the perfect spokesperson for satan because they are familiar with perversion. For the record, the bible says that it is the anti-Jesus, the anti-Christ who will despise the sexual nature of the woman. Daniel 11:32 In fact, satan is synonymous with perversion and all perversion including sexual perversion emanates from his obsessive, but doomed quest to overcome Christ.

  1. Elton John is of his father…the devil…and the desires of his father he wants to do; he was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him!
When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it! Therefore Elton John does not hear God because he is not of God!

May Elton John repent and come to know and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior before he takes his last breath upon this earth.

  2. Good I’m glad he said “I Think” instead of “The Bible says,” so we know Elton is gathering his thoughts from his own reprobate mind. Instead of who Christ really is revealed in His written Word.

  3. This is another one of those instances where I don’t grasp the relevance of the story to the theme of the blog (watching the “gay christian movment”). Sure the story refers to Christ and gay, but I don’t know of anyone who’d consider Elton John to be necessarily even a part of the “movement” let alone some type of spokesperson for it.

Riiiiiight nobody would consider Elton at the forefront of the gay rights movement. Who are you trying to trick here? There is no difference between gays who are political activists and gays who try to claim Christ while living in unrepentant sin. They are all in league with satan.

  5. bix just so that you arent tempted to post something like this in the future, please know that I (just like any of the other thousands of bloggers out there) can write on anything I want to. Hope that helps you.

  6. So true Pastor Foster!

The spirit of the anti-christ is running rampant in today’ world. We as Christians have to know the word for yourself and not be ashamed to proclaim his truth to sinners in need of salvation.

  7. I agree Robert.

ANYTHING that is said that is opposed to the Gospel of Christ is designed to confuse those who have not knowledge of the truth.

The object is to hide the truth and make what the world is saying harmless. But when are lies harmless?

They will cost you your soul….

  8. uh, okay. sorry if that was so offensive. I’m well aware this is your blog and that you can write about anything you want to. I was “just sayin'”.

Anyway, relevancy aside (i won’t bring *that* up again), reviewing Elton John’s “take on Christianity”, is it primarily his assumption that Jesus was “gay” that you take issue with? Because the rest of the statement doesn’t seem that controversial to me (though I’m not sure what relevancy [oops] “being a gay woman in the Middle East” has with “Christianity”).

GCMW: no offense was taken, it was just a fact in context so that you dont keep unecessarily questioning what appears on the blog when it may or may not be specifically related to gay christians. And why would “relevancy” to the blog title be an issue to you anyway?

  9. Blasphemy!

Elton John is a world icon, very few would be able to push the gay “christian” agenda in the way he would be able to. These artists are the most infuential people on earth so when all of these folks get on board with this movement fully this world will fall into sin even at a faster rate.

May The Lord remove the scales from his eyes.

  10. Paul youre right, Ive reported at least 5-6 times where “gay christians” have called Jesus homosexual…and even worse. Guess where Elton John got that idea from. If he had said the same about Mohammed, the Islamics would have had 10 death threats on his life before the sun went down. And yet, they are always complaining about how “hateful” Christians are.

  11. Pure blasphemy…This goes hand and hand with a stage play that recently came out depicting Jesus as a gay man. Jesus come back soon!

  12. These “entertainers” are not just entertaining, they’re swooning. People worship these folks, and anything they say will be deemed truth by their followers. It’s all a part of Satan’s plan. The Bible says he is a liar and “the father of lies”, but the most devastating part is that many will follow his lies all the way to the lake of fire.

  13. If Bix knows the history of Elton John and his gay lifestyle and his boast of being openly gay, then Bix would have not raised that question. Elton is a “rock star” of the gay movement.
With the influence of Elton, his lies carry a lot of weight with
people who do not know the Word of God.
Elton’s comments do not change one thing about God’s Word but I guess Elton believes in his own rhetoric, so maybe he thinks by
repeating his nonsense, it may become true.
The big lie here? If Elton, and others, can convince people that Jesus was a “super-intelligent” gay person, then obviously any
comments against gays are comments against Jesus.
    Neat trick… but trite.
Elton just adds his name to the roll of sinners who will, unless they repent, enjoy their Father the Devil for all of eternity.
Not a nice way to spend forever and forever being reminded that
it did not have to end that way.

  14. Lafe, now that you mention that to say that Jesus was a super intelligent gay man is a super insult to the only wise God our Savior be glory and majesty, dominion and power both now and forever. Jude 24,25… He has been given a name above every other name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow and every toungue confess that he is Lord. Phil 2… For us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist…Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church…Eph 1

    I could go on…

Clearly, Elton John’s ignorant comment wasnt paying any compliment to Jesus. The ultimate compliment any person can give Jesus is to repent, give up their sins and serve the Lord for the remainder of their lives.

  15. Elton John associates super-intelligence with gay in this warped “compliment”. The redefinition and reinterpretation of history, religion, etc. via the absurd is their quest to have their abnormalcy be seen and accepted as normal. They know it is not, but the acceptance and the appearance is all Elton and his ilk are after. Let us keep watch on Elton. This statement is very blasphemous talk, let us see what happens.

  16. A few months ago while channel surfing, a talk show host was defending Elton because he wanted to adopt some boys from another country. The host was furious that Elton was not allowed to have his way and went on to make rude comments about the leaders of that country and calling them names.
Thank God for protecting those children from this reprobate man. Elton John has much influence in the world and making such a comment only gives more ammo to those that hate Christ and His Church. And I think that anyone that does not understand that is not a Christian that loves God and His Word~
