Rev Chuck Currie plays the racism card after GCM Watch story

False teacher Chuck Currie announced that he has been duly “informed” about me and our GCM Watch story on the letter he signed. Well, its official: the story was pure racist hate.  Currie was one of the false prophets who rushed in to defend SOTUS Obama from questions about his so called “faith”.  Currie and his wide spectrum ideological cohorts took offense that other Christians would dare question the “faith” of Obama, who has a mile long history of misrepresenting  just about everything he has spoken on, including his own words. Thankfully, we can use this as another opportunity to show God’s perspective vs man’s perspective.

Does the Bible tell us to question or examine other self  proclaimed Christians? Of course it does.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1 Jn 4:1 (my bold)

What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside. 1 Cor 5:12-13

The reason why so many self identified contemporary Christians believe we should accept Obama’s “I am a Christian” declaration without due examination is because they have been infected with tolerance teaching.  Tolerance effectively renders biblical truth subjective, thus erasing  absolute truth. They interpret this to mean that no one has to right to tell another self declared Christian they are wrong, because one person’s opinion is just as good as someone else’s.

But that’s not what the bible tells us. Its not subjective opinions, but God’s absolute truth that matters. Satan has the ability to transform himself into an angel of light and his servants into ministers of righteousness (2 Cor 11:13-15). Knowing this, why would we want to accept face value what any Christian says —especially when their behavior is conflicting—without testing it against God’s word? Its a foolproof recipe for deception. Widespread deception is evident throughout the Christian community.

Consequently, Chuck Currie doesn’t value absolute truth, only tolerance and as he puts it “reconciliation”. As they stated in the letter, they dont even want us to have this conversation! Since when it is wrong to question something that is not what it seems? If Currie got his bank statement and it reflected less money than he believed he had, wouldn’t he question the bank? So the letter itself is illogical.

Currie is convinced that any dissent of Obama’s words must be racism. It matters not if youre black, white, yellow or brown, if you do anything other than devoutly bow to the image of the unclothed savior of the United States, its RACISM!

Liberal white clerics like Currie get quite upset at alleged racism. It helps to assuage their guilty consciences about American slavery their foreparents engaged in. To them,  racism is the world’s greatest sin next to “homophobia”.  So when the Rev. Currie got “informed” about me, he wrote:

It has been pointed out to me in an e-mail tonight that the author of the Gay Christian Movement is a man named DL Foster, an African-American who says that he experienced “deliverance from homosexual sin almost 20 years ago.” It is particularity tragic that a black man would seek to reinforce a caricature of African-Americans.  Furthermore, The American Psychological Association has noted you cannot turn gays into straights.  As Rev. Foster attacks gays and African-Americans, one can’t help but be reminded of the recent news that Ken Mehlman, the chairman of George W. Bush’s 2004 re-election campaign that played on anti-bigotry, came out this week as gay.  There were, of course, some African-Americans who opposed the civil rights movement.  We can only speculate on the motives of such people but I see no reason to do that here.  That fact remains that Rev. Foster pedals hateful rhetoric whatever his personal motivation might be.

And this is coming from a so called Christian minister? Since when did an APA statement trump what the bible says? Whose report will you believe? The APA which is populated by people whose science is at best self serving, or the eternal God whose record reflects an undeniable history of doing exactly what men say is impossible?

We report, you examine and decide.

  1. Great response, Pastor! I would like to see Chuck come visit your church to try and convince your congregation how you are anti-gay and racist against black people. False teachers like Chuck have no shame.

  2. Underhanded scheming from Mr. Currie, trying to play on the emotions of black people by equating sexual choice. with human rights.

What nonsense from a supposed minister of the gospel!

“The APA has noted that “you” cannot turn gays straight”

Well Pastor He is kinda correct, all the “you’s”, “I’s”, “Me’s” and “We’s” cannot turn anyone straight but the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND GODS WORD CAN!!!

  3. Well is your not making them angry and go off like this your not really doing your job as a Christian, which is simply to tell the truth.

A friend of the world is an enemy of God.

  4. Who’s report will you believe indeed!!!

The foolishness and headlong running towards destruction would be frightening if it were not for the Word that foretold these things.

Brothers and Sisters maintain your sobriety in the Lord and continue to “Watch and Pray”.

  5. Wow. You are a racist! Well, I’ve been called that on my blog several times … ah the price we pay for standing for the truth. And to think that an alleged Christian minister would give the APA more authority than the Bible, and than your own testimony. (Note that NONE of these people will refer back to the APA position on this perverse mental illness in the 1950s!)

  6. Job, uhhh yeah among other assorted accusations. Some people live off the race card. And the APA.

In contrast Jesus said Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

So go figure where people like Currie’s loyalty lies.

  7. People of God: Rev. Currie, like many others of his ilk is professing something that he does not believe in…the Gospel of Jesus Christ and its power to change one’s sin nature into a child of God.
We will not even go there as to his preachments as what is racist and what is not racist. Again, this is what white liberals love to revel in and that is their standards of judging is far superior to the person who is the victim of racial conduct. White liberalism at its finest!
For a supposed minister of the gospel to quote the APA as being
superior to the life changing Word of God, that should show you volumes of where this religious gibberish is coming from…secular humanism and Rev. Currie embraces it wholeheartedly.
Tragically that is why we have so many problems…people like Rev. Currie would rather listen to the appeal of the world than
to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
Currie’s message is non-defensible if he has any rudimentary working knowledge of the Word of God.
The Word of God says to test all things..including testimonial statements of presidents of the USA.
Since when is President Obama exempt from Acts 17:11? I have “read” his testimony and quite frankly it is woefully lacking
in Biblical substance regarding Jesus Christ being the only way
back to the Father and Obama’s position on gays/lesbians is not Bible based.

  8. “The APA is correct in reporting that “you” cannot turn gays straight”. ONLY THE POWER OF THE LIVING GOD CAN! And there are thousands of ex-homosexuals that can testify to God’s amazing and saving grace.
Keep pressing the battle to the gate Pastor Foster~
