Reposition yourself: TD Jakes 'spiritual son' does soft porn for gay marriage

One of the false convert/spiritual sons of Bishop TD Jakes has now repositioned/reinvented himself as an advocate of homosexual marriage. Michael Irvin made the announcement via a bizarre cover story in a homosexual magazine . Like most secular and church celebrities Jakes takes under his wing to “father”, this is just another glaring example of the true fruit of false teachers. Particularly, individuals with sex saturated pasts plus talent make them soft targets for false teachers in the church. Taking advantage of Irvin’s celebrity profile, TBN rushed to get him before Christian audiences, touting him as a Christian “who’s life was changed and as a result he can minister to others.” Jakes eagerly featured Irvin as a spokesman in his “Manpower” conferences. In 2006, the Atlanta Journal Constitution wrote that during Jakes’ “Megafest” conference “NFL greats Michael Irvin and Emmitt Smith paid tribute to Jakes, both calling him “daddy.” ”

But the degenerative influence of Bishop Jakes has now crested in the person of Irvin who wants African Americans to embrace homosexual marriage as normal.

To make his big announcement, Irvin posed sexually suggestive, half nude on the cover of a gay men’s magazine. The backstory justification for this bizarre advocacy by Irvin was his cross-dressing gay brother who died in 2006. An NBC DFW story reported that Irvin credits TD Jakes with helping him to accept his brother’s sexual and gender dysfunctions.

“Michael Irvin was never shy in speaking out on the football field, whether to remind an opponent that he had just been beat, or to rally his teammates on the sidelines. Now, Irvin is lending his voice to the fight for equality, appearing on the cover of this month’s issue of Out, a gay men’s magazine.

Irvin says in the article that his relationship with his brother Vaughan, an openly gay man who died of stomach cancer back in 2006, did a great deal to mold his views on same-sex relationships. According to the magazine, Irvin became aware of his brother’s sexuality in the seventies, after discovering Vaughan wearing women’s clothing, an experience that deeply affected the Hall of Fame receiver. Irvin has since reflected on the appearance with the help of Dallas Bishop T.D. Jakes.”

Even the Dallas Observer raised an eyebrow at the weird connection between the two:

“How can Irvin be both open to embracing a gay athlete and be a faithful follower in the flock of Potter’s House bishop T.D. Jakes? It is Jakes, remember, who — even after his son, Jermaine, was arrested in a gay sex sting in Dallas — calls homosexuality “brokenness” and promises to never hire a gay person into his sprawling ministry.”

If you are “surprised” about Irvin’s embrace of homosexuality, dont be. He’s been cultivating it for a while under the Jakes’ supervision. Irvin had been openly courting the homosexual community until last year when he was hit with a rape lawsuit from an alleged encounter with a woman 2007. As a result, ESPN summarily axed his show.

His gay [radio show] partner Cyd Ziegler Jr wrote: “This is a big loss for gay equality. Michael has been an incredible champion of including a gay voice on his show, even when management scratched their heads about having a gay guy on Dallas sports radio. It’s ironic that earlier this week the Dallas Morning News ran a story about how radio was Michael’s No. 1 priority.”

Its very interesting how people who creep into apostasy always end up fornicating with the homosexual community.  It seems to be a foreshadow of the bible’s depiction of Babylon. Revelation 18:1-5

After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven. He had great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor.  With a mighty voice he shouted:

‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!’ She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit,
a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.
For all the nations have drunk  the maddening wine of her adulteries.
The kings of the earth committed adultery with her,  and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries.”

Then I heard another voice from heaven say:

“‘Come out of her, my people,’ so that you will not share in her sins,  so that you will not receive any of her plagues;
for her sins are piled up to heaven,  and God has remembered her crimes.

  1. That picture…the pose, the “come hither” stare. This isn’t support for gay marriage this is straight up perversion. TDJ is a very dangerous man, and his offspring are being used by him to pervert the gospel even further. This convinces me now more than ever that jakes is teaching nothing besides heresies. Romans 12:1 says to “present your body a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service”…and Irvin presents his to the gay community? Ugh, I just can’t with this. Thank you for setting this out there Pastor Foster.

Uhmm, is this “partner” Michael Irvin’s partner? Wow! Gosh, I should not be shocked anymore, but this is a bit of news!

TD Jakes is really waiting for the right moment to endorse homosexuality openly. He has already been giving us clues over the years.

This is why we must all stand up for the truth of God’s word! Keep standing Pastor Foster!

Jud 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Jud 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

  3. So old nasty T.D. Jakes it at it again??? Nothing this guys does surprises me anymore. Like Pastor foster said this guy has been slowly but surely endorsing more and more of the homosexual agenda since he dropped his infamous sermon about Johnathon and David, and Ruth and Naomi being gay lovers.

I can see REPROBATE all over Him! ugh…..

  4. CJ, the “partner” is homosexual and he was MI’s partner on his radio show. He was the one who wrote that comment. His name is Cyd Zeigler, Jr. who btw is also the author of the story about Irvin in the gay magazine.

Youre right TDJ has been giving off signals for a long time and we have documented just about all of them. You KNOW a tree by the fruit it bears. Anyone can do a little research on all of his so called spiritual sons and daughters and look at them: a hot, nasty mess. Reflection of him?

I mean its not just that he was bizarre if not conflicting views on homosexuality, he has on numerous occasions blew kisses at the issue. Thats not to mention the personal testimony of the pastor who said Jakes pursued him sexually and when he didnt “give in” Jakes told him he had revealed “too much light”.

Yet, people continue to follow this man as if he is the black Mother Teresa (just for image comparison) I’ll just say that God will reveal in his own time, but no one will be able to say no one said anything about it.

  5. There is a video, which I’m going to dig up where Juanita Bynum is seen bowing down to Jakes as he lays hands on her, there is a point in the video where Bynum rises up and the LOOK on that woman’s face was like something out of a Stephen King movie. She had the look of a fierce being that seemed to over take her. She did not look like herself after that moment. I firmly believe that we must becareful who we allow to lay hands on us, for by doing so, we can allow another spirit to come in and corrupt the temple.

Jakes is someone who I have been watching lately and more and more it appears to me that this man is trouble, for he comes in another name and it’s not Christ.

  6. I saw that video. Im not sure its still out there in cyberland, but I did see it. VERY. weird.

  7. I think what is important is that we teach our children that famous and talented people are no more special than anyone else and that we should respect people based on content of character and not the mentioned.

People, even Christians look up to atheletes and entertainers and then they come out with this.

As far as Michael Irvin, to me he is just trying to come out of the closet. He is a biblically ignorant, says quite a lot about who is teaching him.

  8. Another one of TD Jakes “spiritual children” on graphic display. Very difficult to watch.

  9. Thank you Pastor Foster, VERY disturbing and just so much wrong with it that it is hard to find a starting point! I think that I was finished when she quoted not one scripture, but had the crowd in the palm of her hands. Gifts/callings…without repentance indeed! The bowing to her god was just blasphemous and dirty, especially the part where he “bestowed” forgiveness and “blessing” upon her. Oh my!!! He put that demonic spirit on a woman who was already not loosed, but broken and he has done the same with Irvin. Dallas, Texas needs a true Holy Ghost revival and then the rest of the world that reveres this heretical, demonic man.

  10. This video is very disturbing. We hear that she is back in Queens, NY, at New Greater Bethel where it all started. Now we know why Jesus said what He said in Matthew 12:43-45. When things do not work out so well, you go back to the place where it all begins and make things worse. Folks, if we want to learn anything from this article, watch who you are connected with. When things do not line up with the Word of God, it is not the time to just sit there and act like nothing is happening. Get up and move. Quickly!

But just like in the movies, you are told to run, but you ask stupid questions and reason against the wisdom to run. In the blink of an eye, in one split second, they are snatched as they are talking when they could have escaped.

  11. Wow, every month, a new scandal. Sad, very sad act by Michael Irvin. Sadest thing is Irvin’s attack on the church and christianity. I feel ministries and tv ministries put new celebrity christians in the spotlight too fast instead of waiting a few years to see if they are real and truly converted.
TD Jakes says, first, his stepson was a private matter, second, Eddie Long was a matter for his boardmembers and church to handle, and now will Jakes confront or sidestep this gay support confessions of Michael Irvin.

  12. yeah Melvin you can already see the same thing developing with Steve Harvey. While he was being touted on TBN as some sort of Christian authority on dating and relationships, he was fornicating with the homosexual community.

Jaunita Bynum went the same path. We reported on her attending the consecration service of homosexual ministers in Atlanta. Still got the video if anyone wants to see it.

Why is it that everyone he puts his hands on goes buck wild then ends up with the homosexual crowd?

  13. Paul N, you are so right. Gay activists will use the fact that a few celebrities have accepted their lifestyle as “proof,” that it’s okay and the rest of us should get on board. Many celebrities and athletes do some of the most outrageous and immoral things imaginable. Fortunately, I and most Christians don’t take or moral cues from them.

  14. I only made it halfway through the video. Disturbing to say in the least. What that at the MegaFlesh Conference?

On Micheal Irvin, I don’t know of any strait man who would pose like that for other gay men to lust after his body, but I guess that’s how support is garnered in the gay community.

GCMW: Let’s get away from the “straight-gay” paradigm when talking about these issues. Being straight does not equate to being Godly. No man of God would do this. A “straight” man who’s life is not submitted to Christ most certainly would do this.

  15. You know, there use to be a time when having a gay family member was shameful, and if celebrities talked about it, it was to demonstrate that they “had problems too.”
Now, it is like a badge of honor to have a gay friend/family member/coworker. I want to know how much Michael Irvin gor for his soul? More t.v. spots, advertising spots? what?
There is definitely a push to get the Black community to accept the gay lifestyle. I pray that many in our community remain strong.

  16. Furthermore, that pose of Michael Irvin’s is just demonic. It is the gay agenda’s attempt to push new definitions, i.e., “real men do pose provacatively on the cover of a gay magazine”. Kinda sounds like that phrase, “but surely you won’t die”. New definitions must be created to give credence to the lie which is homosexuality, i.e., sexual orientation for the basis of a marriage as opposed to gender. The whole homosexual existence and agenda is built upon one big lie.

  17. So, WOW! This is just a shame. All I can say is that the scripture is true and steadily fulfilling itself. Watch ye therefore as well as pray.

BTW, the afore mentioned video is on youtube called:
TD Jakes and subtle slithering deceit on Juanita Bynum

    In Christ,
    Sis. Shantay

  18. Michael Irvin? He has zero credibility on anything except maybe football. As they say, consider the source and look at his history.

  19. People of God: Are there any prophets or prophetesses in the land that are called to publicly confront these TDJ’s and Irvin’s…or are we left to the train wreck that they can cause with naive believers?
If we do not hear an outcry from TDJ on this OUT cover and a rebuke
for Michael, then it is safe to say that the apple does not fall to far from the tree.
These are interesting times we are now in. It seems that so many events are coming together to form a “GIANT” EVENT or events that
I see it as God informing his church to be watchful and let no deceive you.
As you know, the United Church of Christ (U.C.C.) recently proposed to omit God the Father in their organizational documents and now will use the phrase, Triune God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
Reason? To allow more liberty in expression and to allow for future and fuller light!
Source of this departure by the U.C.C.? In the Garden. Satan to Adam and Eve: “Did God really say that He was the Father?”
    Contend for the faith!

  20. This blog, in my opinion, is a prophetic “voice” in our e-media saturated society; hence, TDJ and MI are being publicly confronted. Are you suggesting the use of some other means of delivering the message, such as a personal visits from other believers?

Incidentally, there are many local churches that deal with cultural issues, such as this one, on a regular basis; however, they are not well known because they don’t have a national radio or television broadcast.

  21. Bishop T.D. Jakes is an anointed man of God who has won thousands of lost souls for the Kingdom of God. Can you say the same? No, he is not perfect, but God uses the imperfect—remember Moses!? God said not ‘to touch’ His anointed. Our first priority, according to God, is to love the lost in order to win their hearts to Christ.

When you sit in your beautiful churches tomorrow morning, think for one moment about all your neighbors who are desperately searching for hope. These people might not feel welcome walking into any church, but they may watch a movie or read a book from Jakes. If they do, they will hear a message of hope and love… a message of God’s redeeming grace.

  22. Sebastian, you dont want to go there, do you? Just about every word of your comment reveals a stunning spiritual and biblical ignorance prevalent in the church world today.

  23. That video is VERY disturbing! Was that Ira Hilliard that she said would be her new spiritual father? This mess is so evil!!!

  24. As my brother in Christ, I want to understand your position even if I do not agree. I see your disappointment with Mr. Irvin; I agree with his poor judgment in posing for Out Magazine. However, I do not understand why you condemn Bishop Jakes for Irvin’s behavior. Is every pastor responsible for his congregation’s deeds? Bishop Jakes has taken the Biblically “Prodigal Son” approach to Mr. Irvin as any good father or pastor would do.

Furthermore, you claim that I have a “…stunning spiritual and biblical ignorance…”. As I read the Bible, I see much more love and mercy than condemnation. In fact, Jesus called the religious leaders VIPERS for their lack of mercy.

While I never claim to have all the answers, I do know first-hand the loving forgiveness, mercy and grace that God has given to me through Jesus Christ. When I fail to meet His expectations, I come into His presence broken, not understanding how He can forgive me yet again. When I feel God’s redeeming forgiveness, tears stream down my face. God does not condemn me, so how can I condemn others?

  25. I saw this last week. What a shame. The Great Falling Away Today is HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  26. To COGIC brother: Yes, that would be one way by which such
nonsense can be confronted with a one on one visit by such
a person to a TDJ’s type of person or ministry. However, the problem may be that of insulation by which the offender does not let anyone near him or her unless they know that person for possible fear of a godly rebuke. You would almost need a national
ministry with TV exposure time to call out such persons in order to
even reach such a person and/or have others relate to that person that “such and such” just called you out on “xyz” tv station.

  27. Sebastian-Please this your warning do not go there about T.D. Jakes being a so called “Man of God”……..you don’t want that rebuke lol

  28. I believe its good that you are so thankful to God, how can one say anything against that.

The issue is not about condemning TD Jakes but all of his “spiritual” sons and daughters seem to take a wrong turn. We are not talking about lay men but supposed leaders.

TD Jakes talked about Naomi and Ruth bordering on lesbianism, he refused to tell a muslim women that you must believe in Christ when she asked him directly.

Its not about him being perfect but does he preach Gods word or is all about “coming out”.

What about big money that these Pastors make and charge for speaking engagements?

Sure there is love and mercy but what about false teachers and people who get rich off of the poor?

I was once like you, couldnt or didnt want to see the truth. We are so Godly while the poor get pimped and we say nothing about it.

    We have to wake up!

  29. One more thing, why does he behave as if there shouldnt be an outrage about Eddie Long and I can bet you that he will not say anything public in opposition to what Michael Irvin has done! He may not be able to stop people from doing things but since this is a public situation, isnt he responsible to the public at large? shouldnt we know that he disagree’s with and has corrected Michael Irvin? I think so, because if not people will be confused as to what on earth he is teaching and condoning.

  30. I dont recall hearing him say publicly that he was giving Irvin the “prodigal son” treatment. He didnt seem to have a problem going public with unwarranted condemnation of Franklin Graham. But then again, hypocrites do things like that.

  31. Lafe, thats it exactly. These religious celebrities set themselves as untouchables. But they will let in those who they want to let in. See Eddie Long case.
However I dont not believe that they are unaware that God is speaking to them and their sins. They know.

  32. I could not finish this video, andI agree with you. I am just looking for where I can truly plant financial seed in this day and time that would truly reach the hurting and not line the pockets of those who are leading others astray, all in the name of Christ. The past is the past, if either myself or someone else, no matter how famous their Christian name is begins to lead in another direction then we are to “depart” plain and simple. That is not a message of condemnation.

  33. What kind of stronghold does TBN have on people I just don’t get it. I stopped watching it years and years ago, it just reminded me of some of the nighmares I used to have when I first came back to Christ.
I had been backslidden and when I returned, I would have these terrible nightmares where the “people” involved looked real but it was “hard to tell. They looked too perfect.
In one of the dreams this beautiful lady, i mean she looked totally flawless on the outside kept offering for me to come to this “plate of desserts” and once i caved in to it, thats when her skin would dissolve and it revealed this “hideous beast” i can’t even describe. I know this sounds out there but I promise you, after that i no longer watched “TBN”. go figure.

  34. gcmwatch, you brushed on something I’ve been wondering about concerning these people. Reading some of the preposterous things they say & the claims they make, I can’t help but wonder if they are aware of themselves. Do they really believe they are speaking from & for God? Can they really be that deceived or are they so far gone that they don’t care? Do they think that somehow they’ll get a pass for deceiving people, that God is going to deal with them differently than what He says in the Word? Clearly the souls of their followers are of little if any significance to them but what of they own souls? Then again, we are talking about people who mis-use & mis-quote the scriptures to their own benefit so perhaps when( if? ) they read those scriptures concern how God feels about people who lie to & mis-lead people in the name of God & how they will be dealt with, they don’t think it applies to them. Thats only for people like you who dare to “touch the anointed”. What a tragic surprise a lot of people will be in for come judgment day.

  35. Paul — I will carefully consider your points. I was unaware of some of the issues that you raised against Bishop Jakes, so I will research them. You also make an excellent point about “…false teachers and people who get rich off of the poor…”. This is despicable behavior and should be confronted.

However, do you see the Biblical parallel in the overall condemnation of Bishop Jakes? The religious leaders of Biblical times constantly condemned and rebuked Jesus and His disciples, and many people sided with the arguments of these church leaders. They condemned the disciples for picking wheat on the Sabbath (not keeping the Sabbath holy was a terrible offense in those days) along with many other allegations—all of which were partially true. The church leaders were wrong only because their words did not intend to heal or change. They were intent on condemning Jesus and His disciples to death.

Is the intent to heal or hate?

I wish others who post to this site would not be so hateful; augments are more powerful when presented with a Christ-like spirit.

brdavidson – why do feel the need to “rebuke”, as you say, anyone on this site? My brother, are you that angry at the world? (rhetorical questions)

  36. Bishop Eddie Long said that he is not guilty. Why should Bishop Jakes, or any of us for that matter, side with Long’s accusers? Is he guilty until proven innocent, or innocent until proven guilty?

It is possible that Bishop Jakes spoke privately to Irvin about his indiscretion; after all, this is what the Bible instructs us to do when a brother in Christ falls.

GCMW: As for those who keep on sinning, rebuke them in front of everyone so that the rest will also be afraid. 1 Tim 5:20 Irvin has been done this MANY TIMES AS A MEMBER OF PH, but no open rebuke from TDJ. Posing like a gay male prostitute on the cover of a homosexual men’s magazine isnt a private matter. So again in your attempt to cover for TD Jakes, you are in error. And again, why did Jakes PUBLICLY REBUKE (at least so called) Franklin Graham for speaking the truth about Nobama’s false religion? Hypocrites on display.

  37. Sebastian,

I have loved Bishop Jakes for many years, and he has encouraged me many times. Nevertheless, you cannot compare taking wheat from a field to homosexuality. Especially, sense the first chapter of Romans makes it very clear on God’s view of the matter. Jesus said if you love me you will keep my commandments. What you think is what you do, and the word says by their fruit you will know them. If our actions define who we are, God wants us to know the definition of all people especially those who have been called to lead a flock.
I have never heard about the Ruth and Naomi sermon, I hope it is not true.

  38. Sebastian-why are you so blind spiritually? Is it because you have failed to keep 2 Timothy 2:15???

And please stop it with your post modern candy coated love (heal or hate) comments. If you truly knew the severe ramifications of what false teachers do you wouldn’t be so quick (or ignorant enough) to defend Jakes.

Jakes is a compromiser who will do anything to gain the adoration of men. He also preaches another Jesus as evidenced by his non trinitarian view of God.

    Do some research.

also you said this: “The religious leaders of Biblical times constantly condemned and rebuked Jesus and His disciples, and many people sided with the arguments of these church leaders. They condemned the disciples for picking wheat on the Sabbath (not keeping the Sabbath holy was a terrible offense in those days) along with many other allegations—all of which were partially true. The church leaders were wrong only because their words did not intend to heal or change. They were intent on condemning Jesus and His disciples to death.”

That is not what the bible teaches. Jesus constantly condemned and rebuked the pharisees and the scribes for their hypocrisy and un-godliness. No man is able to rebuke the Lord Jesus Christ. He is God! Your view of scripture is distorted and man-centered, not to mention dangerous and un-biblical.

Do you not realize that Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath? He created the Sabbath…..as a matter of fact the Pharisees were ready to kill Jesus for healing a man on the Sabbath. Why? Because they did not know God or His commandments. They followed the oral law which was a gross mis-interpretation of the Law of Moses. That’s why Jesus had to straighten them out in the Sermon on the Mount.

The “church leaders” then were wrong just as the “church leaders” now are wrong for not following the word of God.

Get a bible and read it and stop regurgitating error you are heard from sinful men.

  39. Just wanted to touch on a couple of points you made…

    1. “As I read the Bible, I see much more love and mercy than condemnation. In fact, Jesus called the religious leaders VIPERS for their lack of mercy”

Jesus’s issue with the religious leaders was not their lack of mercy alone. It was their lack of mercy coupled with their hypocrisy:

“Woe unto you, scirbes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed apprear beautiful outward but are within full of dead men’s bones and of all uncleanness. even so ye also outwardly appear rightous unto men, but within ye are full of hypcrisy and iniquity” Matthew 23:27-28

Unfortunately we are living in a day and age where these “religious leaders” are not standing for truth in Jesus Christ. I have personally seen the messages he has done on Ruth and Naomi and Jonathan and David, implying some sort of homosexual relationship. I have also seen him waver when asked if Jesus Christ was the only way to the Father and eternal life in Heaven. Let me ask you, if he were preaching repentance, turning from ungodly works, and pursuing holiness thru Jesus Christ would he be as popular? Probably not. Yes the love of Jesus draws us to repentance, but once we repent we are to turn from our wicked ways, “go and sin no more” as Jesus told the woman caught in the act of adultery. I’m happy to hear that the Lord does not condemn you when you come to him for forgiveness. But there comes a time in our walk with the Lord that we cannot continue to “fall down and get back up” as Donnie McClurkin says. As it says in Romans 12:1&2, “I beseech you therefore bretheren by the mercies of God that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

    2. “I do not understand why you condemn Bishop Jakes for Irvin’s behavior. Is every pastor responsible for his congregation’s deeds? Bishop Jakes has taken the Biblically “Prodigal Son” approach to Mr. Irvin as any good father or pastor would do”.

First of all, the whole “spiritual father, spiritual son” thing is not scriptural. Matthew 23:9 says “And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your father, which is in heaven”. Second, I believe that the issue many are taking with TDJ is that since he is supposed to be the “spiritual father” figure for Michael Irvin, he did not admonish Irvin for his actions as a father should do. If your child is behaving in a manner contrary to what he’s been taught at home, you would reprimand him because his actions are making you look bad as a parent, as if he hasn’t been taught at home what is and isn’t appropriate. Likewise, TDJ is being an irresponsible “father” by not rebuking Irvin for being an object of lust for gay men and advocating for the homosexual lifestyle while professing to be a follower of Jesus Christ. If Irvin’s actions were done in private it would be ok to rebuke him in private. But since his actions were done publicly he must be called on his behavior publicly so that others, both saved and unsaved, don’t get the impression that what he did is acceptable.

    3. Finally, you said “Bishop Eddie Long said that he is not guilty. Why should Bishop Jakes, or any of us for that matter, side with Long’s accusers? Is he guilty until proven innocent, or innocent until proven guilty?”

We don’t know what happened. Only the Lord, Eddie Long, and those men know the truth. But Deuteronomy 19:15 says ” One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established”, and with four men accusing him of sexual misconduct, it’s not a good look for him. In first I Timothy, the Bible says “A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;…Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil”.

    Just my two cents.

  40. Sebastian, please connect the dots in the E.L situation. It is not that difficult. He deserves a sharp rebuke for the pictures he sent to these young men alone, never mind that he vowed to go to court and ended up paying out millions to keep it quiet. Where did these millions come from?

Lets remember that a leader should be above reproach, is E.L?

  41. Thank you Mrs Brown. Im upgrading your two cents to a full dollar!

Sebastian might as well be tip toeing thru the tulips with Alice in Wonderland. The level of will full ignorance among churchified people is stunning.

  42. TD Jakes is a gifted speaker and communicator but his message should not be confused with being the one who sent the message! He gave us many Christian celebrity leaders such as Paula White and Juanita Bynum both are divorced and did not lead by example with their marriages. They also ended up upstaging their husbands in fame and fortune. This was out of order! The movie Jakes co-produced called “Jumping the Broom started off with a single girl in the bed half dressed after a sexual interlude. This may have been what happens in the godless world but as a Bishop and man of God Jakes did not have to compromise this way!
Deion Sanders wife Pilar was on( the canceled show?) Football Wives and it showed her sneaking out of a home bible study after 10 minutes and getting another wife to sneak out with her to a worldly Movie Premiere. The Host of the bible study called her out on her rudeness and she was not only unapologetic but combative. I can’t say if it was for ratings but she was also unkind and extremely arrogant on this Reality TV show, however she has a different face when appearing as a guest on TBN! These are the people that calls Jakes their spiritual dad! Something is really wrong with this picture and how they all seem to have gone Hollyweird!
