Homosexual-led persecution of church not a myth

When we posted this story, which became a shocking alarm to many Christians about the reality of what was upon us, we didnt realize that it was just scratching the surface.

And if there was any doubt in your mind whether our report was true, read this article by the National Public Radio which details specific cases where homosexuals are quickly using their newfound power via “marriage rights” to jumpstart persecution of the church (and some Jewish organizations which reject homosexuality).

In recent years, some states have passed laws giving residents the right to same-sex unions in various forms. Gay couples may marry in Massachusetts and California. There are civil unions and domestic partnerships in Vermont, New Jersey, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Oregon. Other states give more limited rights.

Armed with those legal protections, same-sex couples are beginning to challenge policies of religious organizations that exclude them, claiming that a religious group’s view that homosexual marriage is a sin cannot be used to violate their right to equal treatment. Now parochial schools, “parachurch” organizations such as Catholic Charities and businesses that refuse to serve gay couples are being sued — and so far, the religious groups are losing.” (our bold)

Pastors, bishops and overseers:  if you have not yet told your congregations of the dangers at the door of the church because you dont want to “alarm” them, you should quickly rethink this. You need to get on the wall and sound the alarm.

Esther 4:13-14 And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews.  For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
